You can not get away...

Texas set another college standard Monday with its record 75th win in College World Series History. Actually, not just a win. It was a dominating, shut out performance against the team considered #1 in the country, Tulane. Bring on Baylor!

How could I have forgotten South Carolina in my post about Texas tradition? My logic in my mind set failed me! I'm remiss in not mentioning that the gamecocks list their numerous NCAA championship appearances at http://uscsports.collegesports.com/trads/scar-history.html#NCAA%20Championship%20Appearances

I do note that USC has won two NCAA titles: One in women's track and one in equestrian. Aren't they the same thing in South Carolina???

The problem with "appearances" is that it means "You ain't won shit!" OK. There may be a rich tradition--The cocks have made it to the NCAA's in baseball 21 times and to the CWS eight times...each time coming away with nada.

I'm glad you pride yourselves with your baseball programs [sic] (do you have more than one in Columbia?) but if you're going to post a condescending comment to me, have something to be proud about. Give Spurrier time to win an SEC East title or sumpin'!
